The Latest Project --Classifying Transients

Can deep learning be used to classify transients in James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) data and improve our understanding of the early universe? 


We are exploring generative models to reach a feasible amount of training data; then delve into deep learning and geospatial methods to classify various transients.
